A couple of our favorite places on our favorite Ile in Paris, Ile Saint Louis . Berthillon ice cream shop has the most amazing ice cream. You have to try the salted caramel! It is so delicious. My mouth is watering as I type. Beware of other stores along the main street on Ile Saint Louis. They have signs that are hung outside of their shops that say Berthillon and you think that is the actual ice cream shop. But it is almost at the very end of the street/ile. Side note: Johnny Depp lives on Ile Saint Louis and is often seen in line to order the famous ice cream. The second is a picture of L'Ilot Vache where we had dinner after Carlos proposed on Ile Saint Louis. The food tasted amazing but it could have been because the two of us were SO IN LOVE and excited that we just got engaged! ;-) We went back on our second trip and the food was good, but not as amazing as we had "remembered".
