Train Town

Mimi, Papa and I took Landon and Tatum to Train Town. Landon had so much fun and loved riding on the train. He was too scared to get on any of the rides except the merry go round and that took a lot of coaxing. This was the first time that Tatum hung out in the Bjorn facing out. She has not been a big fan of any of my baby wearing apparatus, so I was extremely excited that she lasted about 30 minutes in the Bjorn.

Go Raiders!

We were lucky enough to have Lindsay and Eric invite us to go to the Raiders game with them. It was Landon and Tatum's first football game. It was SOOO hot that day, but everyone did really well. I was so nervous taking two kids to the game (especially Miss Colic Pants). I am not a huge football fan at all (much to my husband's chagrin) but if I have to go to a game, watching it in a sky box is the way to go! No crazy crowds, couches, chairs, food and drinks. Now that is what I call going to a football game. Landon had a grand old time shelling the peanuts and eating them. To top it off, a woman came by with a tray full of Haagen Daas ice cream bars. DELISH! If you look closely at the picture of Carlos by himself, you will see that we were right next to John Madden's box. Afterwards, they invited us over to their club and Landon got to go swimming in the kiddie pool. He had so much fun! Now when football comes on TV - Landon says, "GO Raiders!". I think Eric made Landon a Raider fan.

Tatum is Two Months Old

I can't believe that Tatum is two months old already! Time is flying by! The colic/reflux seems to be getting better (knock on wood). Things she has been up to at two months:

-Sleeping long periods during the nights. Sometimes going ELEVEN hours between feedings!!!
-Smiling the sweetest smiles all the time.
-Starting to make all kinds of noises and trying to talk to us.
-Starting to pay attention to her brother.
-Tatum only wants to be held looking out. Not a fan of the "frogger" position on our chests.
-Doesn't like her Bjorn, Ergo, Peanut Shell or Didymos. (YES...I do own a lot of baby wearing apparatus - Landon liked all of them and Tatum doesn't like any of them - UGH!)
-After powering through two PAINFUL months of breastfeeding, Tatum is starting to have a better latch and I am not in pain everytime she eats.
-Tatum is no longer interested in her binky (ANY of them). I have purchased what seems to be every binky made and she is rejecting them all.
-Tatum is not a fan of her car seat. She screams everytime we put her in there and as soon as Carlos starts swinging her or once we get her in the car and start driving she calms down.
-We call her - Tatum, Tatey, Tater Tot, Toots du Monde

Tatum has definitely taught us that every baby is different and whatever you think worked for one baby definitely doesn't work for the next. In a way I feel like a first time Mom because everything with Tatum is so brand new to me. Happy Two Months Princess!

Baby Barrett

We babysat Baby Barrett while Jeff and Linsey went to Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park. It was definitely interesting having two babies that are close to the same age plus a toddler to take care of. The kids outnumbered Carlos and I! I have to say that I really respect and admire parents that have twins. It has to be an incredible amount of work.

Big and Little

I remember (okay not really...the pictures help me remember with my "mommy brain") when Landon was this small. It is so strange to have two children and to look at Tatum and think that it was just yesterday that Landon was that little as well. Time goes by so fast! You have to cherish every day and every special little moment they give you.

Recreation Center

We are so lucky to have Mimi and sometimes Papa come down to SF to play with Landon and Tatum every Tuesday and Thursday. Since we live in one of the foggiest cities, there are some really great indoor recreation centers to go to. We have one right in our neighborhood that is a great place for us to play when it is cold outside. They have all kinds of toys to play with and ride, art time and music time. Mimi came with us today and Landon had so much fun. Thanks Mimi and Papa for all that you do!

Landon's Playgroup

I love that our little boys are growing up together. After two years, my playgroup is still together and we meet every Monday. Here the boys are exploring the garden part of the playground.

Mmmmm....Brownies!

Tatum's First Bottle

Landon was such a good big brother and helped Daddy give Tatum her first bottle. As you can see she was looking strangely at them.....wait....you are not my mommy...but you have the good stuff....so I guess you will do.
