I have a lot more pictures that I took from the Loire Valley including our trip to Chateau Chenonceau and to Vouvray for a little wine tasting. But they are currently on Carlos' computer and I need to get them from him to continue. So in an effort to TRY to catch up with current day, I will have to go back and blog about that part of the trip later. For now I will take us back to Paris. Unfortunately, we didn't get a lot of sunny days like we have in trips past. The nice part about this trip to Paris was that we didn't have a huge agenda. Our main reason for the trip was for Toni and Derrick's wedding and the rest was to just see some of our favorite spots and relax and soak in Paris (my favorite city). On this day we decided to walk to a market we had heard about (which ended up being a LONG walk for an okay market). As you can see we had a pretty gray day with occasional rain. We enjoyed our cafe au lait outside of Les Invalides (military history museum), had lunch on St. Germaine Blvd and then went to one of our favorite museum's, Musee d'Orsay (which ironically has a lot of pieces at our neighborhood museum, DeYoung, while they are under construction).
