Four Months Old

How can you possibly be four months old? Time is going by so fast. I feel like I just brought you home from the hospital. This is what you have been up to:
  • You started really engaging with us and giving us a lot of smiles.
  • You give your Daddy big smiles when he comes home from work.
  • You started being able to sit upright with assistance.
  • I was able to start carrying you on my hip because you could sit upright.
  • You really started to get the gist of your jumpy and have really taken a liking to it.
  • I am able to move you from your jumpy to your activity center to your Bumbo and you are able to keep yourself entertained.
  • You like to sit in your Bumbo on the dining room table when we eat dinner and stare at your brother as he "attempts" to eat his dinner.
  • You have started joining your brother for reading time and get really excited at the prospect of eating the book.
  • Still are not a huge fan of tummy time.
  • Started being more "open" to baby carriers - Ergo and Didymos (yes, I have a lot of baby wearing apparatus).
  • Your hair has stopped falling out and seems to be growing back in.
  • You really like to suck on your fingers - sometimes one, sometimes two or three.
  • We should potentially invest in Duracell stock since we seem to have to buy a new pack of D batteries once a week to keep your swing swinging!
  • You are completely through your colicky period but still take your reflux medicine.
  • You are quite the sweet little princess and I can't stop kissing you.
